Painting Progress and Dragon Sketch
The drawing and some inprogress shots of a Medusa painting. For a very long time I've held a love/hate relationship with digital media. It gets very frustrating sitting at a computer for hours sometimes, and not producing an original physical piece to hold. That and my painting skills aren't exactly up to par. So pushing myself away from the computer more and more these days to experiment in physical media.

ImagineFX
Hey there! Brushing the dust off this blog. Please excuse the broken images in my previous posts, I don't understand what's going on with that.
But! Some of my work will be published in issue 77 of Imaginefx, due to be released in the Uk on Nov 10th I believe, then hitting the US a few weeks later. Exciting stuff!

Quetzal Tattoo
About a week ago I got an email from one of my clients I did a tattoo design for. He got the inks done and sent me pictures of it. The lines were done by James Rossi at Green Machine Tattoo in Miami, FL. Facebook page
Colors to come when they get sent my way. :)

Snake Pit
One of my new pieces done with an intent of getting more four corner illustrations with an actual narrative for my portfolio. I had a lot of fun with the loops of the dragons and getting all of that to overlap. Depending on your monitor, you can see the dragon and all the other details down towards the bottom.
Crits welcome!
There is also a step-by-step from thumbnails to final on my website in the concept gallery! Linkage
Crits welcome!

Drawn Today
First real post of the new blog.
I just recently found about the Drawn Today blog and podcast which is a group of artists who simply try to draw and post everyday. From there a podcast grew with various topics, advice, interviews, resources from the artist collective. Many of the podcasts are hitting the 50min mark but the time listening to them is worth it. They cover everything from Tentacles to Illuxcon, Conventions, Life Drawings, etc. Hit the sketchbook and give the podcasts a listen. They can be found on Itunes under the name Drawn Today.

And while you're at it head over to Drawn Today Blog and check out the dailys from the Art Collective that includes awesome artists like Sam R. Kennedy, April Solomon, Mark Molner, & DCriler, just to name a few.
